Welcome to Tip & Splits!
Quickly and easily figure a tip and get the final amounts to pay!
Out with friends and paying in cash? It’s easy to give each person a rounded-up even-split whole number to pay!
Is your share not an even split with everyone else? Enter the totals for the bill and tax and then enter the amount of your items to find the amount that only you owe!
No ads and free to use! However, if you find yourself using Tip & Splits please consider leaving a tip so that the app can be kept up-to-date and get new features!
No user data is ever collected, tracked, or even looked at by the app! Nada! Nothing! I’d rather have you as a customer than a product!
Features:
- Enter the bill for food/services and the tax separately.
- The Group Screen calculates the final tip, the total for the bill itself, and the split for each party to pay.
- The Single User Screen allows you to enter your amount separately when your share isn’t an even split of the total bill.
- Change tip and split values on the fly to speed up your tipping decision.
- Use the reset button to quickly clear your entries and return to your default tip and split values.
- User guides are always available!
- Calculation Options and Default Settings are saved to your iCloud account so that they can sync across your devices (this can be disabled in device Settings).
User Settings & Customization:
- Calculation settings:
- Include tax in the tip calculation, many merchants do this automatically when you get a bill without the tax being shown. But if you are given the tax, then at least it’s your choice!
- Round the split amount per party up to the next whole number (which affects the tip and final total).
- Set tip and split defaults for the reset button after using temporary values.
- Pick your own app icon to show your favorite currency symbol!
